Norwegian Cruise Lines is much better than Royal Caribbean and Carnival. I am too lazy to type more, just trust me, I've been on each 3 times.

Just returned from the Baltimore-Bermuda May 31 cruise. Had read that the Majesty was awful and the food terrible. Went with three generations in our family and had a great time. There were way too many old people in wheel chairs and walkers on the cruise. In case of an emergency evacuation they wouldn't make it. We ate in all restaurants but the Bistro which is $15. per person extra. The Pasta Bar turned us away the first time we went to eat because my Bermudian father-in-law showed up in Bermuda shorts! Long pants required for dinner in the fancier restaurants. Food pretty good but service could be slow. Skip the Chocolate Buffet, it was a let down from the many good ones I have been to. Hot dogs and Pizza always available in the top aft deck. Pay lots extra for soda. $40 for all you can drink soda mug. Coffee, tea and water always available. Juice only in the mornings. Buffet is dress and eat when you want on top deck from 7:00-10:30, 11:30- 3:00, 5:00- 9:00. The 2 Pools are small, shallow and hot warm enough. Two hot tubs were always full. Music on deck great for dancing. Dance club on deck 7 had good crowds but mostly over 50. Younger couples were outnumbered. Only few children on this cruise but they seemed to be having a good time with the Kids Korner. Not many using the pay arcades. Casino did lots of business but was closed while in port as were the ship shops. Good buys on Goslings Bermuda rum on the ship. Other shops small and nothing too exciting. Expect to have your photo taken everywhere and every time you leave ship. Food in Bermuda is very expensive. We ate on board but for 2 meals. Buy bus and ferry passes to travel the island in the Post Office 2 blocks from the ship. We docked right in St. George. Much better that the larger ships which dock at the Dock Yards. The town is only a few years younger the Jamestown Virginia and is a real living town with very nice people. Be polite and say "hello, how are you" when you go into a shop or meet someone on the street. Nice art shop right at the square run by local artist with good art and souvenirs. Walk around the town. Many place s close at 4:30 or 5PM. No need for a tour. The only tour we paid for was the Helmut Dive. Overpriced and very few fish. Check out the helmet dive over in the Dockyards. More fish in that area and more experience with the dive. Dockyard gift shop by the old Frog and Onion pub has some native crafters for unique gifts. Take the ferry to the Dockyards. Beaches all over the island are easy to get to. Clearwater Beach was almost deserted in St. David's. Several beaches run side by side. Bring snorkeling gear to beaches! Fish and coral to see. Tobacco Bay is walkable, 1 mile are so, from the ship. Fort St Catherine is beautiful but you may need cab or scooter for that. Buses will take you to other beaches. Remember to bring clothing to cover up swim suits and bring some kind of shoes. Locals use buses and will not allow wet sandy tourists on board. You can take the bus or ferry to Hamilton. Don't miss this capital of Bermuda. Good walking and shopping area. If you want soft beds on the boat contact customer relations and ask for soft cushion bed toppers. Also ask for extra pillows! Had some trouble with the A/C in our room but they did the best to get it working properly. Had small refrigerator in the room and made most of our drinks there. Shush!!!!!! Saved lots of money that way. Alcohol not to be brought on board but if you are good at packing. Only bad experience was with the Art Auction. Rude people and overpriced lithographs. Stay away!!! Expect to be charged $12 a day per person for tips. This goes on your shipboard bill. Shows on board are pretty good. Sandy Lyn Duo, sad- like a Saturday Night Live routine. "Keyboard and Vocals", Richard Comeau, was terrible. Karaoke was popular, as was the pay to play bingo. Had great experience of a tour of the engine room with the chief engineer. The ship was his baby and knew every inch of her workings. Thousands of gallons of sea water were turned into drinking water daily! Great trip and easy in and out from Baltimore terminal. Parking was expensive, over $100.00!

Stressed out and in need of a break we booked trip a last September from Philadelphia at short notice. Just drove there and boarded. Stress free. The ship
is older and smaller but the ambience and crew are fabulous. Not as fancy as larger ships but it is made up by the overall experience.
St Georges is a great place and its easy to get around using buses and ferries. The excursions were wonderful but we also enjoyed making our own way around using public transport. Daily passes for buses and ferries can be purchased at the post office.
Overall it was a wonderful experience and value for money.
It was so good that we are going again from Baltimore on 5/31. Excited and really looking forward to the break again. We are sorry that the Majesty will not be there for next year but hopefully, her replacement will be just as wonderful and will also go to St Georges.

Just came home from the Norwegian Majesty. Mentally and emotionally I am still there. The ship was very nice and the staff amazing. We had a wonderful person clean our stateroom. His name is Joesph from Haiti. We also had a very adorable waiter from the Philippines named Christopher at the bar pool. Very up beat and made us laugh the whole day through. The rest of the staff are very hard working people. It can't be much fun working so hard while everyone is enjoying themselves but they do it well.
Only two complaints, the hot tub was not hot at all and the bathroom by the poolside needs to be renovated.
The singer Georgy was not good at all from the fireworks and one evening he did his act by the pool.It was dreadful where did they find this guy at?
The band TRU LIFE are an amazing band and much success to them all
Thanks for the memmories

We stayed in Suite 901 and couldn't have asked for a better cabin. Separate living, dining, bedroom and a spacious bath with floor to ceiling windows made the few times we had to spend indoors very comfortable and worthwhile.
Le Bistro exceeded our dinner expectations and ended up eating there 3 times.
Although we had to skip the Cayman Islands due to rough weather, we were kept informed at all times and the crew did their utmost to make up for the disappointment and we arrived at Cozumel earlier than planned.
The entertainment was very good and the casino staff was attentive without being pushy.
Overall, we would rate it a 10 out of 10.

Just got a standard cabin, which incidentally was clean and comfortable, as we figured we wouldn't be spending that much time there which proved to be exactly right. Our steward was an old hand and very knowledgeable, most of the food was ok and the crossing was incredibly smooth. Fantastic number of ways to pass the time. Your main problem is deciding on what to do. Anyways, finally got to Bermuda and it was just wonderful. The beaches were superb, the water was a gorgeous turquoise and crystal clear, and the locals could not have been more friendly. I would recommend this cruise to anyone.

Didn't know how we would get on being a family of four, but there was no need to worry at all. We all fit into the cabin comfortably and were efficiently informed by our excellent steward how to go about things. didn't really spend much time in the cabin after that as there was so much to do. It was particularly good for kids as you could leave them in a supervised environment for a couple of hours and go off exploring. Great vacation!

Boarded the ship quickly and efficiently and were instantly acquainted with our friendly steward. The suite was wonderful; clean, spacious and well appointed with plenty of storage space. Tremendous wealth of entertainment on board which would satisfy all but the most difficult. We spent most of our time in the fitness centre or the casino, and even won a bit of money. What a great vacation!
